Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fibres of the muscle, tendons, and fascia. It is used to release chronic muscle tension, to break up and eliminate scar tissue, and to un-stick the fibers of muscles, while releasing deeply held patterns of tension. As such it can help to integrate and co-ordinate posture and position.   BENEFITS:

  • Improves circulation
  • Removes toxins
  • Deeply relaxing
  • Improves posture
  • Breaks down scar tissue
  • Corrects imbalance
